How are guides vetted?

Every guide goes through a full criminal background check, identity verification, and must hold current CPR + Wilderness First Aid certification before being listed on the platform.

What age children can hikers take?

Each guide lists their own age range on their profile. Many are certified infant carrier fitters and take babies as young as 8 weeks. Check the "Ages" tag on each profile.

When am I charged?

Payment is collected at booking via Stripe. Your card is charged when you confirm — not when the hike is complete. You receive a confirmation number immediately.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes — see our Cancellation Policy for full details. Cancellations made 48+ hours before the hike receive a full refund.

What if the weather is bad?

Your guide will contact you 24 hours before if conditions look unsafe. Weather cancellations are always fully refunded.

Do I hike with the guide or drop off my child?

Both options are available and discussed with your guide at booking. Most parents choose to hike alongside — it's a great family experience.
